So the book comes out in less than a week! Sorry to have been out of touch – I was taken out of the country on a job and all that blah blah blah and etcetera. One of the funniest aspects of getting ready for publishing day was my media training. The publishers had someone (a very nice and super competent woman) talk to me about keeping my answers short and my voice clear. Ironic because this is the sort of thing that is normally my job to tell others and was frustrating at times because it is waaay easier to give advice of this nature than to get it. “Can you limit your answer to one idea at a time?” but but but there is so much to say … America wants to hang on my every word (Spoiler alert, they don’t).
Other advice (this time from my wife): “It wouldn’t hurt to whiten your teeth a little and get some shirts that actually fit!”
